Scatter Joy Acres is a 26-acre urban Rescue/Animal Therapy ranch in Omaha, NE.
We take in abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Those we that don’t find loving forever home are trained
to become therapists in our Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program.
Our certified AAT program provides help for those in greatest need in our community:
at-risk children, the developmentally disabled, seniors, homeless, the mentally ill, veterans, and those re-entering society.
Projects Needing Financial Assistance
There are a number of projects that need to be completed at Scatter Joy Acres. We are in need of:
truckloads of road gravel
2-10'x12' animal shelters (for our pigs and goats)
hundreds of feet of 6' animal fencing/posts
Hay & Feed for animals
Can you help us with a financial donation?
Sponsor An Animal
Feeding all our animals is a never-ending expense. A month of feed for:
horse or donkey - $100
goat or llama - $75
chickens and ducks - $50
Our animals thank you for your donation so you can continue to put smiles on the faces of people of all ages.
How Can You Help Us Make A Difference

For children that have been abused or are in abuse/trauma situations, let us help bring them to a safe and understanding place in their lives so they know God did not mean for them to be harmed. With love and support around them, they will become and remain productive individuals in the community.
