Scatter Joy Acres is a 26-acre urban Rescue/Animal Therapy ranch in Omaha, NE.
We take in abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Those we that don’t find loving forever home are trained
to become therapists in our Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program.
Our certified AAT program provides help for those in greatest need in our community:
at-risk children, the developmentally disabled, seniors, homeless, the mentally ill, veterans, and those re-entering society.
The Ranch Experience
Scatter Joy Acres Annual Family Passes are only $50.
Omaha's 26-acre petting zoo, Scatter Joy Acres is open year round!
At the ranch, you will get to meet and play with a wide variety of animals. Instead of being behind glass or in cages, our residents roam in their pens and you can go in and play with them.
Rule #1 at the ranch: If you open a gate, close it. (Chasing down loose animals is a lot of extra work, so we appreciate your help.)
Our animals love to meet and play with new people. They are naturally curious and love to investigate new things.
Have your camera ready for amazing photos.
Dress for the ranch....when it rains, it can be a bit muddy.
